Greetings! so ive been doing alot of thinking. and im not abandoning Deviant (never was) but im still working on the game. i tried starting a whole new shooter and it feels wrong leaving this game with a short level and a boss battle. so to add to the demo (to pad out replay-ability and possibly even add enough to the project so that i can send it to publishers, im working on a new gamemode that works apart from the main campaign. This game mode will most likely be akin to something similar to cod zombies or Hellbound: survival mode. aka im working on a small wave based survival game mode where you fight endless waves of Deviant enemies. Now this is also good for the game as it will provide an environment that will allow you to practice the main movement and gun mechanics of Deviant. Already have the main map completed for the gamemode, now currently working on the mechanics of spawning in enemies with the waves and such. i will keep you updated.
